Position Overview
As the Retail Supervisor, you will be at the heart of creating an efficient, fun, and vibrant shopping experience in our retail store. Your role is multifaceted, encompassing elements of leadership, customer service, sales, and store management. Your primary objective is to lead and inspire your team to provide outstanding customer experiences, meet sales targets, and maintain the store's overall success.
Supervisor Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead and supervise retail staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they deliver exceptional customer service and achieve their sales targets.
Customer Service: Set a high standard for customer service excellence, actively engaging with customers to resolve issues, answer questions, and enhance their shopping experience. Engage with customers in an exciting and knowledgeable manner, assisting them in finding and selecting products that match their needs.
Sales Management: Process, monitor, and track sales performance, setting and communicating sales goals, and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth. Collaborate with the management team to develop innovative strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the team to ensure stock is replenished in a timely manner, utilizing creative displays to attract customer attention.
Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store's visual appeal by managing merchandise displays, signage, and layout to optimize product visibility and sales. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space.
Operational Efficiency: Maintain operational standards by overseeing cashier operations, returns, and exchanges, as well as ensuring the store is clean and organized.
Loss Prevention: Implement loss prevention measures to minimize theft, monitor security systems, and address any security issues promptly.
Staff Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules, balancing workload and ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
Training and Development: Train and onboard new team members, as well as, fostering a culture of excellent customer service. Ongoing emphasis on product knowledge customer engagement. Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques, sharing this information with the team to enhance their performance and the overall shopping experience.
Reporting: Generate and analyze sales and inventory reports, providing insights to inform decision-making and optimize store performance.
Vendor Relations: Collaborate with vendors to manage product orders, deliveries, and returns, maintaining positive vendor relationships.
Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback and relay it to management, contributing to improvements in product offerings and customer service.
Participate in building Ten Rooms Culture: A concept where each department within an organization cultivates its own unique atmosphere and characteristics, contributing collectively to the overall organizational culture.
