About the Role:

Ten Gun Design is looking for a Digital designer to collaborate on creative marketing emails for a major, industry-leading gaming brand. Our ideal candidate is highly adaptive, wildly creative, and loves making things they are proud of. The Digital Designer will be responsible for a range of projects including production design, template design, and bespoke visual design. They should be comfortable attending client meetings, maintaining critical project deadlines, thinking critically about user experience, adhering to brand guidelines, and framework guidelines, and being passionate about all things design related.

The Responsibilities:

• Participate in the creative process from original concepts to final implementation for digital marketing efforts concerning email communications
• Work collaboratively with team members throughout the creative design process to identify preliminary design concepts, implement changes and review iterations, and release final files.
• Produce brand adherent, accessible, framework-aligned, production-ready assets under tight deadlines.
• Create visually stunning designs utilizing bespoke motion (gifs) where applicable
• Uphold graphic consistency and quality across all channels and raise the quality level of all work in the team.
• Effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously and self-manage personal workflow to meet timelines.
• Professionally present and communicate ideas to peers and cross-function teams and clients with confidence.
• Adhere to defined processes and efficiencies within a variety of project workflows.
• Create documentation, improve processes, and train peers across project types.
• Update, redesign, & maintain the email design framework
• Adhere to and promote quality assurance practices

The Requirements:

• A portfolio that demonstrates quality visual and graphic design skills, including typography, email, layout across digital platforms, and motion design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe XD
• Proven ability to apply design skills (ideation, color theory, typography, imagery, pixel-perfect layouts, texture, etc.) across digital platforms and breakpoints (mobile, desktop, tablet).
• Strong understanding of web and email user experience (UI/UX design) and visual design
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to perform under tight deadline pressure
• Ability to respond and rapidly adapt to changing business needs.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Professional level competency with the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with website and/or email accessibility best practices a plus
• Familiarity with HTML a plus
• Motion design skills are a plus (as it pertains to email)
• Experience with Figma
• CMS experience, AEM preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ten Gun Design is currently working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are a Washington State-based company. This role must reside in the state of Washington and be willing to relocate to the Greater Seattle Area once we return to work or an evolved hybrid model.
