Ten Five Hospitality is Hiring a Restaurant Manager Near Los Angeles, CA

Nightlife Manager - Desert 5 Spot 
Ten Five Hospitality is looking for a Nightlife Manager for Desert 5 Spot, located at Tommie Hollywood Hotel. This is a full-time position responsible for managing all aspects of late-night operations.
Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Maintains and upholds professional appearance standards as directed in our Team Member Handbook.
  • Promotes team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
  • Leads the team by example with respect and professionalism.
  • Anticipates and accommodates the needs of the guests.
  • Manages all aspects of the operations, including payroll, scheduling, inventory, training, etc.
  • Supervises and coordinates activities of Bar Lis employees to ensure that the venue is running efficiently and profitably.
  • Participates in interviewing, hiring, and training new applicants and employee development of all subordinates.
  • Addresses and resolves guest and employee concerns.
  • Responsible for reconciling end-of-shift financials.
  • Ability to perform the job duties of all supervised employees.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus.
  • Ensures that the venue is compliant with all federal, state and local laws and regulations; and company policies.
  • Ensures Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
  • Ensures the completion of all opening and closing procedures by FOH employees, as prescribed by company.
  • Works cohesively with the Back-of House.
  • Work with other departments to execute events and private parties.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the venue, company, and the hotel.

Training Requirements:

  • CA Managers Food Handling Certificate
  • RBS Training

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Great communication skills, great training abilities
  • Fluency in English; strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Minimum 3 years in nightlife management
  • Micros experience a must
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and organize
  • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolve problems using good judgement
  • Follow directions thoroughly
  • Understand guests service needs
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information
  • Work on feet for duration of shifts, walking, bending, & reaching
  • Open availability to work late nights, weekends and holidays

The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader with a genuine passion for providing world-class service, a keen eye for detail, and a talent for building teams and developing others. At least 3years of nightlife management experience is required.
