US-EcoLogic Single Family and US-EcoLogic Multi Family.

Summary:

Tempo Inc./US-EcoLogic Accounting Manager is responsible for managing and coaching staff accountants and accounting clerks and ensure timely closing of accounting books. This position will report to the Controller or VP of Finance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 Manage the Accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, accounts receivable, and payroll.
 Review and preparation of monthly journal entries, accruals and supporting schedules.
 Oversee the weekly payroll and book entry to the general ledger.
 Review, audit, and adjust Inventory Quantity Variances.
 Correspond with taxing authority and file state sales tax reporting.
 Review A/P and A/R ledgers to ensure transactions are booked in a timely manner and in accordance with company guidelines and GAAP.
 Review daily cash reporting and forecast daily cash flow.
 Manage the monthly, quarterly and year-end close. Responsible for closing the books.
 Recommend and implement automation and other improvement initiatives to streamline month-end, quarterly and annual closing processes.
 Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
 Interact with key members of management and provide accounting and financial support to business partners throughout the Company.
 Ad Hoc reporting

Qualifications

 Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
 Working knowledge of General Ledger software packages
 Strong knowledge of US GAAP
 Strong MS Office skills with Advanced MS Excel skills (v-lookups, pivots, formulas)
 Strong written and verbal communication skills
 Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction.
 Experience working in a team environment.
 Adaptable to changing environment/technology.
 Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
 Demonstrated progression of responsibilities during career

Education and/or Experience
 BA/BS in Accounting; CPA or CPA Candidate preferred.
 5 years of experience in accounting.
 2 years of experience as a supervisor

Language Skills
 Able to speak English.
