TEMPO AUTOMATION, INC. is Hiring a Quality Systems Manager Near San Francisco, CA

You Will:

  • Develop and implement programs, processes and procedures to support maintaining certifications to all quality standards, such as ISO-9001, ISO-13485, AS-9100, etc.
  • Act as Lead auditor and facilitator of Quality performance improvements for all appropriate quality standards.
  • Implement quality improvement activities as appropriate to raise the performance of our products. Suggest methods for improving product quality, design, or manufacturing processes and facilitate process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining and continuously improve the Quality Manual, and control and approve internal work instructions and procedures.
  • Be the point of contact with customers, auditors, regulatory and government agencies on quality issues and audits. 
  • Lead Management Review, Internal Audit process and communications, Quality Planning, CAPA, SCAR, FMEA, IIPP, and Training programs. Ensure effective root cause analysis and closed loop corrective actions at a systematic level.
  • Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record-keeping on appropriate systems during audits to ensure they are effective and independently verified. Work collaboratively with internal and external customers to ensure quality requirement alignment, proper flow-down through the organization and compliance to customers' requirements.
  • Manage staff training processes to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations. Assist and check associates as to performance, rules/regulations, and safety precautions.

You Have:

  • 3 years experience in a leadership position within the EMS industry.
  • Experience and understanding of the Contract Electronics Manufacturing process.
  • Expert level knowledge of the requirements of Quality Standards such as ISO-9001, ISO-13485, AS-9100.
  • Experience having led the preparation, implementation and audit of at least two certification audits.
