This role requires HR education and experience, advanced excel and analysis skills, compliance expertise with first-time quality work. This individual will have an opportunity to impact the full lifecycle of employment, including but not limited to: interviewing, benefit engagement, training, performance management, compliance management and employee events development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, interview, and hire candidates. Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing requirements and establish hiring goals and priorities, as well as provide guidance on best recruitment practices.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and job postings that accurately reflect the requirements and responsibilities of each position.
  • Responsible for HR documentation and processes - handbook, performance and coaching, policy updates, insurance coordination, workers compensation, garnishments, support orders, etc.
  • Additional business tasks as needed for corporate office and leadership team.
  • Professional, reliable, and consistent in attendance.
  • Employee engagement through coordination of events and activities.
  • Audit employee status updates in ADP Workforce Now and e-files for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Oversee timely and accurate processing of employee data via HRIS systems, including ADP Workforce Now.
  • Work closely with the payroll and accounting departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain training matrix and ensure adequate training follow-up.
  • Perform exit interviews.

Strongly Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelors in Human Resources Required
  • SHRM or Other HR Certification Required
  • 5 years of HR experience in a high growth environment; preferably in mid-to-large sized company
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required (i.e, excel, word, powerpoint)
  • Experience with Recruiting, OSHA, and AAIM.
  • Compliance oriented - familiar with applicable local, state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organized, adaptable, analytical, efficient and solution-oriented.
  • Independent, self-starter with first time work quality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for actions based on the analysis.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with demonstrated abilities to juggle multiple priorities and support executive leadership.
