TELEWORLD SOLUTIONS is Hiring a Field Tech I Near New York, NY
- Installation of client equipment at Macro sites in maintenance window (night time and Early morning work)
- Support troubleshooting of all T-1, ATM backbone, microwave backhaul transmission methodology
- Support RMA process tracking and documentation for MMBS equipment
- Inside wiring (per client requirements and MOP)
- Operate and follow standard industry installation, cabinets, wiring, cabling protocols for cable routing and wall penetrations
- External installation of equipment per standard installation protocols and client guidelines
- Management of all assigned client equipment inventory in the field (includes spare equipment)
- Technicians must follow client quality control and closeout reporting processes (includes pre/post photos)
- Perform other installation, testing, and tasks as assigned from time to time
- Report to client POC with daily status of activities
- Bachelors Degree; 2-5 years work experience in the wireless industry
- Knowledge of CDMA/EVDO and LTE/Volte technologies a plus
- Must have a strong work ethic, integrity and work extremely well in a team environment
- Aptitude for creativity and innovation
- Working knowledge of Base Station Vendor equipment
- Proficient in MS Office package
- Flexible during times of change
- Strong trouble-shooting skills and problem resolution skills
- Strong written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
