Position : ManufacturingQuality Specialist / QA Specialist

Location : Rockford IL61101

Duration : 12 Months

Summary

• Provide Quality Assurance Supportto the Rockford site.
• Provide product andquality system information to internal and external customers.
• Review new paperwork and proposed changes forappropriateness and determine potential effects on product quality.
• Help strengthen our quality system and makeimprovements where needed.
• Help educate andpromote adherence to Quality Assurance policies and requirements.
• Work with Quality Control in the review anddevelopment of specifications test methods andprotocols.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Provide Quality Assurance Support to the Rockfordsite
• Complete Customer surveys andspecification verifications
• Review and approveengineering change notices and deviations for appropriateness andto determine potential effects on product quality
• Assist with the maintenance of ISO registration and theinternal audit program
• Investigate qualityproblems
• Perform and coordinate review of rawmaterials to determine continued suitability at retest / reviewdates
• Assists with the creation / modificationof Certificates of Analysis templates
• Assist Customer Service Technical Support RegulatoryAffairs and Analytical Services in addressing customer inquiriesand concerns
• Process product integritycustomer complaints
• Perform training onQuality procedures
• Gather and maintain Countryof Origin and animal origin information
• Reviewand update standard operating procedures
• Perform and coordinate incoming inspection of purchaseditems as a backup
• Collect and analyze qualitydata
• Participate as needed on new productteams
• Safely perform all job duties and obeyall safety policies and procedures
• Perform alljob duties consistent with the Code of Ethics and the 4Ivalues
• Perform all job duties within ISOstandards regulatory or statutory requirements
• Perform other duties and crosstraining asassigned

MinimumRequirements / Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree required in ascientific discipline
• 1 years relatedexperience in a manufacturing or quality environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively with multiplelevels of staff throughout the organization
• Possess strong organizational skills with the ability tomanage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Detailoriented and accurate while maintaining a vision ofthe result
• Employees must be selfmotivatedwith the ability to work as a team player and / orindependently
• Knowledge of ISO and cGMPrequirements preferred
• Works on problems ofmoderate scope in which analysis of situation or data requires areview of identifiable factors
