Position : Materials Supervisor

Location : Riverside MO 64150

Duration : 6 Months

Shift : B shift (TuesFri 6pm 4 : 30am)

Job Description :

Essential Duties andResponsibilities :

Coordinate all material handleractivities.

Coordinate activities for warehouse layout.

Training coaching developing thematerial handling team.

Implement and assist in development of cycle countingand pull system for each commodity.

Manage / coordinate the receiving and DMRprocesses.

Managethe input of incoming receipts on a regular timely basis.

Manage the processof outbound shipments.

Coordinate all customs compliance requirements.

ObservesMaterials / Production operation within their area of control toascertain

Compliancewith methods quality standards safety regulations 5s andProduction / Materials Standards.

Efficient operation of equipment : takes correctiveaction to eliminate any deviation.

Assist in maintaining and revising visualinventory benchmarks standards.

Daily coordination of Production builds schedules.

Daily floor walks

Liaison betweenMaterials and Productions

Coordinate any outside warehouse activities.

Manage the processof supplier cum reconciliation.

Monitor system for accurately tracking TruckloadUtilization. (TUMS)

Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of anynonconformities relating to product process and quality system.

Manage and maintainonsite replenishment of Trailers (Shelve)

Identify and record any problems relating tothe product process and quality system.

Initiate recommend and provide solutionsthrough designated channels.

Verify the implementations of solutions.

Control further processingdelivery or installation of nonconforming product until thedeficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

Activelyparticipates in Health / Safety / Environmental investigations and the8D process in order to develop root cause analysis for problemresolution as required.

Reporting accidents occupational illnesses and HSE&Eemergencies and inform supervisor of known HSE&E conditionswhich could adversely affect other team members assets or to thepublic.

Ensurescompliance with all safety procedures and ensures safe workingprocedures in assigned material areas.

Qualifications :

Toperform this job successfully an individual must be able to performeach essential duty satisfactorily.

Familiar with MRP process.

Computer experience to includespreadsheet and word processing.

Able to obtain forklift and commercialdrivers license.

Required Education

Education and Experience :

Postsecondary education in a related field orequivalent experience a Bachelor Degree is preferred.

Two years supervision ormaterials experience in a JIT manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of MFG Proor equivalent.

Required Years of Experience

Two years supervision or materials experiencein a JIT manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of MFG Pro or equivalent.
