Job Description :

As an Offshift MaintenanceSupervisor for the Client Foundry located in Waterloo IA you willprovide supervision to and schedule work for the skilled tradesemployees maintaining foundry equipment.

In addition you will :

Give safetyenvironmental and ergonomic leadership to direct reports to ensurethat they work safely and all work that they complete complies withsafety environmental and ergonomic standards and regulations

Ensure allenvironmental safety and preventive maintenance work is completedaccurately and on time

Recognize equipment repairs and improvements and workwith maintenance engineering to scope plan and prioritize theseprojects

Ensure thatassigned personnel have appropriate training work instruction andtools to successfully do their job

Lead safety through regular safetycommunications driving engagement in the CI Safety and ErgonomicRisk Assessment process prompt near miss reporting with a focus onquick thorough safety corrective actions

Ability to work daily and weekend overtime asdictated by the needs of production

Lead employee engagement activities whileestablishing a positive employee environment through communicationsfeedback and overall guidance

What Skills You Need(Required skills / experiences)

Experience using SAPplant maintenance for scheduling work and purchasing repaircomponents

5 or moreyears of experience maintaining industrial equipment

Plans and prioritizes workeffectively adapting for changing conditions

Good understanding of in the 1910OSHA CFR

Competentusing Microsoft Office

Excellent communicator who thrives on solving problemsand working in a team environment

What MakesYou Stand Out (Desired skills / experiences)

Experience troubleshooting machines using RS Logix

Good Understandingof 480V Power Distribution

5 or more years of experience working in foundrymaintenance

5 ormore years of experience in maintenance supervision

Demonstrated team leadershipskills

Experienceinitiating and managing changes to drive improvements

Experience with wage / unionemployee policies practices procedures and work rules

Education

Ideally you will havea degree or equivalent related work experience in the following :

Bachelors degree inmechanical Electrical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering otherequivalent technical discipline (or 5 years in a maintenance rolewithin a foundry environment)
