Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Dispatcher.

As a Service Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and scheduling service requests, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of services to our customers.

This is a vital position that requires strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Service Dispatcher for field service technicians. Answer incoming service calls and scheduled technicians via tablets and cell phones.

2-years of dispatch experience and general knowledge of South Florida and the Tri-County area.

Responsibilities:
- Receive and process service requests from customers via phone or email
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule service appointments and dispatch them to customer locations
- Monitor technician availability and assign jobs based on skillset and location
- Track and update service orders in the system, ensuring accurate documentation of all details
- Communicate with customers regarding service updates, delays, or changes
- Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics team to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize routes and maximize efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including time logs, job status, and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Requirements:
- Previous experience in dispatching or related roles preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems or similar software
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with SyteLine or other ERP systems is a plus
- Experience in 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus
- Ability to type quickly and accurately
