Position : Project Accounting Implementation Specialist
Location : Grand Rapids, MI
Schedule : M-F, 6am - 3pm or 7am - 4pm
Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000
Company: CFS has partnered with a dynamic consulting firm specializing in providing financial advisory services to international clients. With a focus on delivering high-quality solutions, we are seeking a talented Project Assistant Controller to lead our international team of 7 professionals.
Accounting Implementation Specialist Responsibilities :

• Train and integrate into international team.
• Conduct weekly calls for issue resolution until transition to Real Page.
• Manage parallel books, focusing on transaction accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with international point person, supporting a small team.
• Transition operational processes to new system, streamline inter-entity transactions.
• Provide new system training to international teams for smooth adoption.
• Handle Excel operational reports, migrate financial reporting to new system.
• Project manage software transition, offer accounting support.
• Require GAAP knowledge, remote team management skills.
• Full-time, in-office contract position for at least 2024.

Accounting Implementation Specialist Qualifications :

• Advanced Excel skills.
• 5 years full-cycle accounting experience, including reconciliation, financial statement prep, and transaction posting.
• Remote team management capability.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and accounting proficiency.
• Prior project management or team leadership experience.
• Familiarity with Real Page software (plus)
• Background in manufacturing, farming, or production industries is a bonus.
