Description:

Needs to live within an 2 hour drive from Raleigh for as needed events for servers. Job is remote.

This person will support the windows servers (1000 production/non production) and linux servers (2) - 35-40 VMS

Tickets will come in via Service Now - example tickets (service restarts, HHS in box, find service, kill process, bounce service)

Log files via File Zilla

Oracle is deployed in environment

They try to automate as much as we can and expand drives through command lines

required skills:

scripting (powershell bash/pearl, python)

Linux server RHEL deployment best practice

Windows Server deployment best practice

Job is Monday-Friday 8-5 pm

On call rotation (once a quarter for the week) Phone typically doesn't come active unless of an emergency. (Maybe once every other time)

Sunday - Sunday is the on call rotation schedule.

7:30 am call when on on call rotation to update if any calls came through the night before.
