Introduction:
TEKsystems is currently hiring for a Patient Service Coordinator. This is an onsite position located in Columbia, MD to assist patients in a positive and smooth visit. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a corporate company. This role offers great work life balance, as well as offers lots of room to grow within.
Shift : Monday - Fri 8AM - 5PM
Description:
- This candidate will be responsible for answering phones and scheduling appointments, and other duties as directed by the providers.
- Using EPIC EMR to update patient medical histories and demographics.
- Verifying insurances and helping patients with check in and check out.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have great customer service skills.
- Preference will be shown to candidates with recent EPIC experience.
- Medical outpatient experience preferred but not required (2-5 years).
- Must have some medical background/experience and EMR experience.
- Must have computer proficiency.
