Description :
TEKsystems is currently seeking an experienced Patient Service Coordinator to work in the Columbia, MD area.
The PSC will be responsible for :
- Patient registration and scheduling
- Insurance verification and coordination of services for patients
- Charge entry and reconciliation functions
- Co-payment and daily cash receipt responsibilities
- Handling referrals
- Providing front office coverage and assistance.
Candidates must possess :
- High school Diploma or State Qualified GED
- MUST HAVE 1-2 years of medical experience (preferably in a front desk setting)
- Previous EMR experience (EPIC preferred)
- One to two years Customer Service Experience (receptionist experience a Plus)
