TEKsystems is currently hiring for an entry-level position with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in Winchester, VA!
Objective :
To respond to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals within a 24 / 7 high volume, schedule-driven and structured contact center operation (CCO).
Provide information regarding banking products and services demonstrating knowledge, active listening, multiple system adaptability and engagement methods to ensure optimal member experience and customer service.
Perform transactions or related functions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs and / or other accounts.
Advise members of other products and services that may fit their needs and provide opportunities for positive member interaction.
Description :
- Provide member service via phone or other media ( email, chat, etc.)
- Protect and verify identity of caller; review account information for alerts and account irregularities
- Ensure account and member security by identifying red flags and safeguarding member assets and account information
- Understand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services
- Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts and / or loans
- Open new accounts and educate members or potential members on products and services that best meet their needs
- Guide members on a variety of loan products to meet their financial needs
- Quote interest rates and submit loan applications
- Service members' existing loans and lines of credit such as changing or cancelling approved loans, changing collateral, discussing late feed and payments, loan documents, loan status & titles
- Reroute members to the appropriate departments as needed
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned
Requirements :
- Recent customer service experience (preferably in a call center environment) and / or working directly with customers
- Open attitude and willingness to help others
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient Data Entry abilities
