TEKsystems is Hiring a Helpdesk specialist Near Middletown, PA

Description : *Looking for a Helpdesk support technician to join the service desk team. The manager oversees the desktop support team and the call center support team.

The service desk is composed of 6 technicians plus one intern. The desktop team is end-user facing, and this team sits in the middle of the manufacturing floor.

Each candidate may support a specific line of manufacturing. Daily task may include :

  • Troubleshooting hardware and software; install and configure new hardware and software
  • Workstation setup and patching (using LANDesk)
  • Office 365 support
  • Windows 10Candidate must be comfortable working under little supervision and take initiative to move on to the next task if he / she completes a task early.

Phoenix Contact has an informal training process, so candidate must be comfortable with on-the-job training and job-shadowing.

Candidate will be paired with a desktop member to go over IT processes and procedures before processing tickets on his / her own.
