Description:
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Legacy Novell (aka Attachmate, Micro Focus, OpenText) Open Enterprise Server (OES) Skills Required
Familiarity with both legacy Novell style Linux file servers and Windows Native services
Understanding of the functionality provided by Windows client for OES
Capable of interpreting login scripts
Familiar with the peculiarities of the NSS File system
Comfortable working with SuSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES)
Upgrades from prior versions of OES and SLES
Concepts of identity, data and permissions migration
Familiar with IDM capabilities (not necessarily how to configure just what it does)
Understands relevant Windows capabilities (Group Policy Objects, file shares, etc.)
