Job Description:

• As a systems engineer for Tactical Systems working on Identify Friends or Foe (IFF) programs, your primary duties and responsibilities include:
  • Performing technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation, evaluate alternatives including cost, risk, supportability, and analyses. Adherence to documented engineering processes.
  • Developing and managing systems level requirements, leading functional bench test and qualification tests. Providing engineering support to factories and the repair of field returns.
  • Apply your subject matter expertise of Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) design and testing to AIMS and RTCA standards.
  • May code in automated test scripting language.
  • May be a group or task lead, responsible for scheduling, assigning work, reporting progress to plans, reviewing the technical adequacy of work products, meeting cost and schedule for assigned group and interface coordination with other groups.
  • May generate estimates, basis of estimates, and support proposals.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Skills Required:

• You must have working-knowledge of the IFF domain (Interrogator and/or Transponder) standards with experience applied practice in designs and integration, verification, and validation.
• This requires electrical engineering skills and the ability to perform testing and investigations in an electronics laboratory environment.

Skills Preferred:

• Requirements management using DOORS. - 45TS - VRG-1000

Education Required:

• Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university, and at least fifteen (15) years of work experience.
