Description:
Eversana is in the process of refreshing it's warehouse environments in Memphis in addition to another warehouse coming online soon. They have a new WMS system being installed in addition installing some new wireless technology. The wireless technology being installed will enable Eversana to leverage robots for warehouse picking tasks. The company they are bringing in to implement this new technology is called Locus. In preparation for this project, they need a Network Engineer consultant to come in and assist with infrastructure site readiness (specifically related to it's wireless technology) to ensure the 4 Memphis-based warehouses are optimized for this new technology. This person will be spending their time installing new access points and antennas, performing site surveys, and helping with Cisco Wireless (controller based) project tasks. The project is slated for 4-6 months (likely at least 6 months), but could very likely get extended. There is also a chance this position could turn into a full time role down the road, but that is not guaranteed at this point.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
We are looking for a Network Engineer with strong experience with Wireless (Installing Access Points and Antennas). We also need someone with experience doing wireless site surveys using a tool like ekahau, proscan, or airmagnet. A skillset with general network support would also be helpful. This position is not focused on route/switch, but someone with some familiarity with various networking technologies would be helpful for when any general issues may arise. Ideally we'd like to find someone with this experience in a warehouse environment. A huge plus would be finding someone that has already done wireless readiness work for a similar robot project.
