Description:
This Project Lead will report to Sheri Knowles. She helps manage a group of PM's that supports the Workers comp business line. CPP is the clients most critical initiatives to stay competitive and help with bulk discounts for various Insurance lines for consumers. A commercial package policy (CPP) is an insurance policy that combines commercial general liability and commercial property insurance. A CPP lowers costs, broadens coverage, and simplifies the buying process. CPPs are among the most widely purchased insurance policies in the United States. They are focused on CPP, this is the largest initiative and cost saver for the company and is getting a lot of attention from leadership.
Day to Day:
The resource will be junior and in a long term training program to become a Project Manger. They will begin working under a Sr. Project Manager for multiple business units and the IT departments and a coordinator. The goal is to move Jr. resources into the PMO they are looking to stand up in the near future. This is a great opportunity for someone to get there foot in the door a become a PM quickly with little to no experience.

Essential Functions
1. Coordinate work for projects involving multiple team members
2. Create and execute project work plans to meet changing needs and requirements
3. Help identify resources needed and work with leaders to assign individual tasks
4. Prepare and review project related documents prepared by the team before passing along to stakeholders
5. Effectively apply project management methodologies and best practices
6. Perform risk analysis and recommend actions to mitigate risk
7. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
8. Ensure that projects meet stakeholder objectives

Qualifications/Requirements:
Does this resource need to come from an IT area is that important to you? Not necessary, but we will likely favor those with an IT area.
Is there any specific technology tools that would be valuable? We generally use Atlassian products for our project management tool set.
Is there any Project Management methodologies you would prefer to have experience with? Agile
Will the resource need a minimum amount of professional experience, (i.e.: at least internship)? Ideal candidate would have an internship or some experience, but we are open to looking at candidates that show potential

Hybrid Work Schedule:
"For our WFH policy, we are asking that CTH candidates be on site for the training. Training can vary by team but it could be anywhere from 3-8 weeks depending on the team and pace of the CTH candidate. While the CTH is in training we may offer them 20% WFH each week, which would typically be 4 days in the office and 1 WFH day each week. Once they are out of training their leader may grant more WFH flexibility based performance, (up to 95% WFH, which would be coming into the office at a minimum of 1-2 times per month). Also, in the first year we are asking that the new hire or CTH have 60 days of in office time."
