Job Title: Solar Installer
Position Reports To: Site Manager or PM
General Description: The Technicians Role is to assist a Lead Technician or above in day to day tasks and to execute daily tasks and objectives set by the Site Manager or PM. Technician should strive to achieve deadlines and begin to understand budgets while working within the Delivery Model. To communicate with the Site Manager, Lead Technician or Project Manager and make them aware of the daily changes, challenges, and opportunities within a project.
Responsibilities and Accountability:
Responsible for daily task management
Responsible for practice and enforcement of employee safety and jobsite safety.
Responsible to be a Brand Ambassador for Client and ensure that Technicians are following Brand Standards
Responsible for communicating needed supplies, issues or questions to the Lead Technician or Site Manager.
Responsible for daily task management.
Responsible for weekly vehicle maintenance.
Responsible for taking initiative towards expanding your skill set in order to advance within the company.
Responsible for maintaining project documentation. (System Subshell, Service Order, etc.)
Responsible for reporting in-field needs regarding equipment, supplies and Change Orders to Site or Project Manager.
Responsible for Tracking Time on a weekly basis.
Responsible for tracking and turning in all mileage logs, expense forms and RFTOs (if applicable) before the payroll deadline.
Responsible for helping all departments when needed (AE, F&S, LV).
