Tecknomic is Hiring a Program Manager Master - A Near Washington, DC

This is a full-time position with Tecknomic and the project is with the Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection (DLCP). This is an onsite role in Washington DC. Please note, in order to apply for this position, you must be able to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination at the initial screening stage of the interview.

Candidate should have 16 years of experience. Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks. 

We are looking for a project manager to organize programs and activities for our organization. You will be tasked with developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long-term goals. You will also be responsible for developing budgets and operating plans for programs and writing program funding proposals.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in both program management and team management. A bachelor's degree is required.

Program Manager Responsibilities

· Organizing programs and activities by the mission and goals of the organization.

· Developing data sharing policies, new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.

· Creating and managing long-term goals.

· Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.

· Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.

· Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.

· Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities and data quality and accuracy

· Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.

· Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.

· Selecting and implementing the appropriate software tools

· Defining data governance policies

· Establishing data quality standards

· Aligning data management practices with business objectives

· Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.

· Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

· Analyzing program risks.

· Working on strategy with the marketing team.

Program Manager Requirements

Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business or related field.

Proficiency in Tableau, Azure, Cloud, workflow management, SQL, non-SQL database and building data warehouse.

Proven experience in program management.

Proven stakeholder management skills.

Proven experience managing a team.

Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.

Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Understanding of project management.

CONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

1. Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.

2. Manages teams of contract Support Personnel at multiple locations.

3. Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.

4. Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items.

5. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
