Techstaff has a great opportunity for a Tool Design Engineer familiar with designing tools, fixtures and special machines for the manufacture of complicated metal parts. This role reports directly to the Chief Engineer. In this role, you will learn to assist in programming CNC machines, design and develop custom and semi-custom tooling, part routing and quoting. Experience with PPAP and APQP is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background as well as experience in machining, fabrication, and process engineering. Our client will train in areas of weakness assuming the candidate has some area of strength....IE Design, Programming etc. An Associate degree or Bachelors degree is preferred but not required with experience.
