- Leads, develops, and implements strategic project-wide system audits and quality plans, as required by the client contract.
- Maintains strong relationships with client quality representatives to report progress and handle inquiries and issues.
- Promotes a Quality culture on the project, ensuring implementation of best practices and continuous improvement of quality standards and systems.
- Participates actively in the risk assessment workshops on the project.
- Implements an effective corrective and preventive action system and tracks closure of NCRs and waiver requests.
- Assists in the definition of project objectives and metrics (KPI), analyzes performance, proposes corrective actions.
- Collaborates with Suppliers and Supplier Quality to ensure project requirements are met.
- Leads and facilitates RCA/CARs to ensure completeness and adequacy of controls.
- May facilitate the feedback process throughout the construction phase and may assist in the development and approval of site procedures, QCP’s and ITP’s.
- Compiles and analyzes complex quality data, identifies trends / causes and proposes corrective actions.
- Resolves operational issues related to customer third party representatives.
- Configures and updates the QMS (Quality Management System) and contributes to its continuous improvement.
- Validates scope and resources during the definition of the quality requirements on projects.
- Provides guidance and motivation to team members.
- Builds effective relationships with peers, co-workers, customers, and industry representatives.
- Assists with interviews and recruiting for entry level and experienced positions for the department.
- Participates in cross functional quality improvement initiatives.
- Provides technical and commercial support for TechnipFMC bid packages.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably with a specialization in Quality)
- 5 years of experience in Quality or equivalent function; Subsea background strongly preferred
- Industry knowledge is required. Knowledge and experience with TechnipFMC subsea products and operations is preferred
- Experience implementing and administering company policies and procedures in order to successfully achieve business objectives
- Ability to develop, improve and implement processes, policies and procedures that impact direct function
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and coaching, and respond appropriately
- High standard for documenting and following critical business processes Advanced leadership traits around communication, establishing requirements, addressing areas for improvement
