Siemens Energy seeks a Procurement Manager specializing in gas turbine auxiliary systems to lead all aspects of the procurement operations for the Aero Derivative Gas Turbine (AGT) product line for the United States.

We are seeking a candidate with a robust background in procurement, engineering, and project management, capable of steering both strategic and operational aspects of the supply chain. Reporting to both the AGT procurement head and the head of procurement for new unit equipment, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining supply chain processes and improving overall efficiency.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Formulate, implement, and refine supply chain strategies for current and future product portfolios under your purview.
• Drive initiatives sought to reduce product costs and lead times through effective supplier selection and collaboration.
• Coordinate and lead all aspects of all supply chain activities and resources to fulfill sales and operational requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for supply chain-related issues, including delivery schedules, quality assurance, and commercial matters.
• Lead key performance indicators related to product delivery, quality, and cost.
Facilitate collaboration among various procurement teams to optimize sourcing strategies.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 10 years of proven experience, preferably in the energy or oil and gas sectors.
• University degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in engineering principles, project management, and procurement processes.
• Customer-centric approach with the ability to forge strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities within a global business environment!
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, along with proficiency in delivering presentations.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
