Sunny Sky Products is seeking a highly organized and skilled Procurement Manager to join the team. This full-time on-site position is located in Houston, TX.
Procurement Manager to join our team. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring that the organization acquires the necessary goods and services at the best possible price and quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used in the business.
• Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries.
• Communicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting production.
• Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement.
• Developing risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages.
• Supervising a purchasing team and delegating tasks across departments when necessary.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Liaising with key company employees to determine their product and service needs.
• Performing all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management.
• Identifying areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.
• Managing overall direction, coordination and evaluation of procurement for the organization.
• Track, review and report on all procurement KPI's.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, procurement or related field.
• 7 years in purchasing or procurement functions.
• 3 years in a management or leadership position.
• Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including Oracle, SAP Ariba, and/or Envision.
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
• Management and leadership skills.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay Range
$100,000.00 Annually to $110,000.00 Annually
