Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals in a hospital setting. Your primary responsibilities will include patient care, medical administrative support, and basic life support.

Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and collecting specimens
- Provide patient education and instructions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Coordinate patient appointments and referrals
- Assist with medical billing and insurance claims
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing electronic health records
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
