About the role:

The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for mining company data to achieve valuable insights, used to inform critical business decisions. This role compiles business intelligence to support actionable recommendations and provides executive leadership with analytical insights to promote strategic decisions and maximize company-wide value. This role responds to the needs of the business and helps create solutions and responses to questions as they arise. 

About the Team: 

The larger BI Analytics team comprises several dynamic professionals, spanning from Director to analyst roles. The immediate GPS BI Analytics team consists of the Manager of BI analytics and this BI analyst role. The larger team is extremely collaborative and supportive, with numerous opportunities for team building and cross pollination of ideas. 

What you’ll do:

• Learn and understand GoHealth’s business processes, including the role each department plays in supporting the company’s ultimate goals.
• Work with leaders to understand important value drivers and challenges within their departments and determine the important metrics and insights that can help improve performance as a result.
• Build interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau that provide insights that can be easily interpreted and applied by business leaders to help improve their performance.
• Collect and evaluate data to track project performance and important developments.
• Summarize raw data into digestible and applicable information.
• Think of new ways that data-based insights can help support GoHealth.

What we’re looking for:

• BS or BA degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, Business Intelligence analytics, MIS, computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 1-2 years of related experience guiding strategic decisions using data and analytics
• Ability to digest ambiguous asks and translate them into an actionable plan
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience conveying complex concepts to colleagues with varying degrees of analytical knowledge
• Desire to expand analytical and data visualization skills.
• SQL, Python, and Tableau skills
