Team Satchel is Hiring a Regional Account Executive (Illinois) Near Remote, NY

We’re investing heavily in our next phase of growth in the United States and are looking for a number of Regional Sales Managers to forge new partnerships with K-12 school districts and nurture existing relationships to deliver on ambitious growth plans for Satchel Pulse.

You’ll be the face of Satchel for your region, building solid partnerships across the districts, and will be instrumental in the next phase of the evolution of our organisation.

Your responsibilities

We are looking for a SaaS Regional Sales Manager to close new business opportunities with K-12 Districts in your assigned state(s) territory. You will sell our SaaS solutions which enable school districts to get the accurate data they need in order to monitor and improve their Social Emotional Learning and Culture and Climate. You will join a commercial team of 9 Regional Sales Managers (including yourself), 5 Business Development Representatives, and backed by a strong Partner Success and Customer Support team. The team is expanding rapidly.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Being the opportunity owner for all your new deals in the funnel
  2. Closing new opportunities (80% of your time) but also some lead development and closing new product opportunities with existing clients (20% of your time)
  3. Transferring opportunities to Partner Success Manager after closing while maintaining a relationship with the account to ensure customer satisfaction and capturing future sales expansion opportunities
  4. Continuously providing feedback from prospects to the marketing and product teams

Requirements

  1. You are a creative go-getter, you love talking with K-12 administrators and educators and you quickly recognize client needs
  2. 2 - 4 years of experience in SaaS sales, preferably enterprise software in the K-12 market
  3. Experience or strong interest in our buyers: K-12 Superintendents, Administrators, Faculty, or Staff responsible for Social and Emotional Learning
