• 
  Champion the development of training resources for contractors and dealers
• Gain in-depth knowledge of Key-Link Fencing & Superior Plastics' products & installation methods
• Collaborate with your team and other departments to develop effective Railing & Fencing Installation Training Programs for contractors and dealers
• Support contractors by providing resources and training on building materials and installations for plant tours, training events, job sites & dealer shows
• Provide in-person & virtual training and installation instructions to clients
• Communicate sales & marketing strategies to contractor and dealer customers
• Back the sales of our products by providing resources and training on their installation
• Report constructive feedback of the contractors to the Outside Sales, Inside Services, and Product Management departments
• Cooperate with all associates and channel partners to grow & impact the contractors
• Travel to meet distributors & dealers, to construction sites, & trade shows

Superior Plastic Products Inc., a manufacturer of vinyl & aluminum fencing, railing, and specialty products, is looking for a Product Training Specialist. You will provide quality interactions and training for railing & fencing dealers, such as hardware and building supply companies, railing & fence installation vendors, and contractors. We are interested in people who love to interact with others, are passionate about teaching new skills, are highly collaborative with coworkers and neighboring departments, and want to invest their time in developing new & effective training methods.

Our Ideal Product Training Specialist:

• Experienced: 2 years in a training or sales support role, 3 years in training or customer service, OR 3 years in building materials & construction is preferred but not required.
• Active: This is a teaching role. You must lead an instruction class about installing our building materials/products, which involves lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, & standing for extended periods.
• Independent: Must be motivated & a go-getter. You'll be the only employee within a 100-mile radius.
• Adventurous: You will be traveling to distributors, dealers, construction sites, and trade shows and working in office environments, workshops, dealer locations, and construction sites.
• Personable: Able to train, educate, and present to groups engagingly.
• Excellent Communicator: Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Team Focused/Supportive: Willing to collaborate with, help when needed, and hold peers accountable.
• Focused: Ability to plan & manage your time and meet deadlines with no supervisor oversight.
• Adaptable: Able to thrive in a fast-paced & constantly changing environment.
• Driven: Strong desire to contribute to a team and persistently strive to improve.
• Technological: Proficient with computers, email, and business software such as MS Office 365 & PowerPoint.
