Teague Nall Perkins is Hiring a Project Manager Near Denton, TX

PROJECT MANAGER

Project Managers are responsible for plan production and design management of a variety of public/private-sector projects, including public works infrastructure, private land development, and various types of site development projects. The Project Manager position provides an excellent opportunity for personal & professional growth, as well as the opportunity to have a strong leadership role in the growth and development of the design team to which they are assigned.

Responsibilities/Expectations: Responsibilities require being involved in the production and management of projects, as well as managing multiple clients and a project team. More specifically, responsibilities include:

  • Establishing strong client relationships and communication
  • Managing the technical design of a variety of public & private development projects from the feasibility stage to final design and through construction administration
  • Organizing and directing the efforts of a project team, including engineers, technicians and sub-consultants
  • Preparing proposals, reports, opinions of cost and construction documents
  • Maintaining strong overall financial performance

Position Requirements: At a minimum, candidates must meet the following educational and professional requirements:

Education/Certification

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • Current registration as a Professional Engineer (Civil) in the State of Texas, or the ability to obtain State of Texas P.E. certification within one (1) year

Professional

  • Responsive and results oriented in service to clients and the design team
  • Design proficiency with roadway, drainage, water, and sanitary sewer infrastructure improvements is required
  • Experience with the design of a variety of site & land development projects within various communities in the DFW area
  • Familiarity with the steps and protocols associated with taking projects from the feasibility stage to the construction stage
  • Eight to Ten (8-10) years of experience as a Civil Engineer
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
  • Strong commitment to professional development
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to effectively train & mentor a qualified & productive team
  • Demonstrated ability to develop & maintain solid collaborative working relationships with team members & clients
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organize and schedule work to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage & meet client expectations

Compensation: Compensation includes:

  • A competitive base salary, dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience
  • Supplemental pay for additional hours worked in excess of 43 hours
