Summary
The Quality Assurance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products through quality audits, inspections, and control measures. This position requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of quality management systems. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of ISO standards, FDA regulations, and other relevant quality certifications. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and data collection tools is essential for success in this role. The Quality Assurance Technician will work closely with manufacturing teams to uphold quality standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position is pivotal in maintaining the organization's commitment to delivering high-quality products to customers.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in quality audits, manufacturing, quality control, and quality assurance
- Proficiency in quality inspection techniques and analysis skills
- Familiarity with quality management systems and QA/QC processes
- Experience with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), HACCP, CGMP, and ISO 9001 standards
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality assessments
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Certifications related to quality assurance or quality control are a plus
