Downtown Jacksonville, Florida law firm seeks an enthusiastic, self-motivated Accounting Specialist. This position will have the ability to oversee the day-to-day functions of the accounts receivable and accounts payable for the firm.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities for Bookkeeper:

• Process payments for deposits.
• Reconcile electronic payments for deposits.
• Enter costs in Billing System.
• Process checks for distribution to vendors.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and Comptroller.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in business, accounting, or related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without error, set priorities, and accommodate rush requests.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must know Microsoft Office.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Strong work ethic, highly self-motivated, team player, and self-directed.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working in law firm.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience with accounting systems (ProLaw).
• E-Billing experience preferred.
