Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working with other members of the accounting department to compile, analyze, and report financial data.
• Making journal or ledger entries.
• Preparing state, local and special sales tax returns.
• Act as a point of contact between internal departments and accounting, serving as liaison between accounting and external parties, including clients, suppliers, and lenders.
• Ensures Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable items in a timely fashion
• Coordinate and Authorize reconciliation of bills
• Ensure that bills are processed and paid in a timely manner
• Audits posted payments, wire transfers, cash logs/checks and charges, and checkbook
• Ensures major units, warranty, annual returns, accounts payable, and cash deposits are accurately posted in the General Ledger, processe product cancellations
• Balance inventory, major unit, accounts receivable and other general ledger accounts
• Oversee that Harley Davidson cancellations and refunds are distributed properly
• Prepare and transmit Harley-Davidson Dealer Dashboard. Submit financial and statistical data to HD Dealer Dashboard using dealership management system
• Review internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance
• Run or write accounting reports as needed
• Implementing and enforcing financial and inventory controls
• Performing other account duties and supporting junior staff as required and assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required

3 year of accounting experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
