We are currently seeking individuals for our $25/hr Seasonal On Call Snow Removal role. This position is an excellent opportunity to earn extra income during the winter months, with the potential for spring labor positions. You will be responsible for maintaining safe and clear conditions for pedestrians during the winter season. We are committed to your career development and offer employer-paid training programs for CDL, hoisting, and pesticide licenses.

Responsibilities

• Shovel snow, scrape ice, and apply de-icing materials (salt, sand, etc.) to designated walkways and paths.
• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of snow removal tools and equipment.
• Prioritize safety for yourself and pedestrians, being mindful of slippery surfaces and hazardous conditions.
• Follow a predetermined schedule for timely snow and ice removal, especially during or after snowstorms.
• Perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions, often in cold and inclement weather.
• Collaborate with other snow removal crew members to efficiently clear larger areas and assist in emergencies.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with property owners or occupants requesting snow removal services.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation in a variety of weather conditions.
• Previous professional snow removal experience is encouraged but not necessary.

Compensation

The compensation for this position is $25 per hour.
