Taylor County Juvenile Detention Center is seeking qualified applicants for a Juvenile Probation Officer.
Starting Salary: $53,500.00 annually benefits
Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree conferred by an accredited college or university and either one year experience in full time case work, counseling, community or group work in a social service community or group work agency that deals with juvenile offenders or disadvantaged persons as determined by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department or one year of graduate study in criminology, corrections, counseling, social work, psychology, or other field of instruction as approved by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. Must be able to be certified as a Juvenile Probation Officer within 6 months of employment. Must pass a criminal background check. All applications must include a college transcript.
