Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or as otherwise assigned (must be willing to work occasional overtime, nights, and weekends)

General Summary: Dais Technologies is seeking a motivated individual for a full-time position who possesses a strong sense of ownership to join our team as a Low Voltage Technician. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, has a minimum of two years of experience working in residential roughs and trims. Willing to learn programming, home security, CCTV, and home networking.

Essential Job Functions

  • Knowledge of low voltage roughs and trims. Running CAT 6 cables, security, and audio. 
  • Uses various tools and equipment proficiently. These include, but are not limited to hand tools, electronic test equipment and ladders.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Read architectural drawings, specifications, and industry standard construction documents.
  • Process paperwork as required.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of Residential Low Voltage new build and/or remodels.
  • Must have the skills to work independently with a high level of autonomy.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a positive representation of Dais to the public.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High School Diploma/Recognized Equivalent.
  • Must have valid Florida driver’s license. 
  • Must be able to communicate in English effectively with other individuals.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to navigate through rough and uneven terrain.
  • Must be in good physical condition to perform above job duties as outlined above. Duties require long periods of standing, moving, climbing, balancing, kneeling, squatting, bending, and lifting requirements of up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions, which may be extreme hot or cold conditions.
  • Must have a well-groomed appearance and project a professional image at all times.
