Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team. The Construction Assistant will work alongside our construction team to assist with various tasks and ensure the smooth operation of construction projects. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in various construction skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Assist with the installation of flooring, including carpet, tile, and hardwood - Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts - Lay tiles for walls, floors, and other surfaces - Assist with hardscape and stucco projects - Perform construction painting duties, including priming and applying paint to surfaces - Assist with trim carpentry tasks, such as installing baseboards and crown molding - Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete construction tasks - Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations Experience: - Proven experience in flooring installation, heavy equipment operation, tile laying, hardscape, stucco, construction painting, trim carpentry, and power tool usage - Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials - Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Strong communication skills If you are a skilled Construction Assistant looking for a challenging role with opportunities for growth, we encourage you to apply.
