Communications Manager
Tarte cosmetics is seeking a talented and experienced Communications Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting content in the brand voice as well as developing and implementing communication strategies to promote and enhance our brand presence. The Communications Manager will work closely with internal teams to drive copywriting, create compelling content, engage with media outlets, and effectively communicate key messages to various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

• Partner with internal teams and external agency to develop and implement communication strategies to optimize brand awareness and sentiment
• Create engaging angles and content for press releases, newsletters, social media, and other communication channels within brand voice
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists to secure coverage
• Write media-friendly pitches and press materials to attract media attention
• Craft suite hooks and creative messaging to capture the interest of potential clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels
• Support copywriting and creative communication needs for cross-functional departments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
• Min 4 years proven experience in a communications, editorial or public relations role
• Strong writing and editing skills with a creative flair; ability to adopt brand voice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with media relations and pitching to journalists
• Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
