Target Park U.S. Inc. is Hiring a Parking Valet Supervisor Near Boston, MA

Target Park U.S., is a fast-growing company in the North East looking for a motivated and driven individual to become our full-time PARKING VALET SUPERVISOR in our Boston, MA location. We offer a competitive hourly rate, bonuses and incentives!

The PARKING VALET SUPERVISOR makes sure the site's service standards are being met. They are responsible to make sure that all customers are approached and greeted in a friendly, helpful way.

The PARKING VALET SUPERVISOR will prepare and maintain accurate valet logs and other reports that are needed. They will support their team and make sure their team is following the rules of the job with good communication, problem-solving skills, team meetings, reports, and set to it that all guest relations are handled properly. They will operate, park, and retrieve all vehicles safely. They will make sure all traffic laws, facility policies, and all pedestrian regulations are followed.

FULL-TIME POSITION THAT HAS OPEN HOURS WITH A 40 HOUR WORK WEEK AT A MINIMUM. Please understand working outside of your scheduled hours, filling in shifts and working holidays and weekends will be required.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance and arrive and remain in complete uniform before and during scheduled shift
  • Greet customers as they enter and exit parking facilities in a professional manner
  • Drive, park, and retrieve vehicles in a safe, courteous, and timely fashion
  • Complete a circle check for each vehicle and note any pre-existing damage(s) with current valet software
  • Valet ticket and key organization required
  • Maintain an open line of communication with all staff
  • Schedule making and report running
  • Work independently or within a team to ensure tasks within the garage location gets done effectively.
  • Help manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of employees.
  • Manage the everyday operation of the location with excellent customer service.
  • Work well with the Director of Residency and Hotel GM.
  • Implement tasks, documents and programs to maximize property growth and revenues.

Qualifications:

  • Possess an upbeat personality, willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
  • Ability to organize cars efficiently.
  • Ability to safely operate vehicles.
  • Ability to mitigate and lead others to overcome challenges (Never Ever Give Up Attitude).
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Be at least 25 years of age.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License in state of residency.
  • Ability to create relationships with customers.

Physical Demands:

  • Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.

  • Ability to fill in for shifts that your employees call out or don't show up for.

Experience:

  • 5 years valet parking experience
  • Minimum 2 years supervisor experience and/or 3 years lead valet attendant experience.
  • Be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Ability to be flexible in the schedule in order to meet operational needs. This may require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours.
