Role: Advanced Infrastructure Developer
Location: Jersey City Only Local 3 Day onsite in a week
Experience: 6 Years
JOB SUMMARY:
The infrastructure developer must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant development experience within the networking domain using programming/scripting languages e.g Python
- Understanding of various network devices Routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers.
- Good Understanding of version and revision control practices and procedures.
- Understanding of various OS, database servers, datacenters.
- Knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resiliency.
- Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming/scripting/devops languages: Python, Ansible, Terraform, JSON
- Good Understanding of microservices, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, REST APIs as well as container-based deployment models.
- Experience in standard industry change management processes and implementing methodical infrastructure change processes in a high-risk environment.
- Understanding of IP addressing and network protocols.
- Self-Starter who can take initiative and has the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Must have strong communications skills both written and verbal
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication
- Strong work ethic with a results oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate with different roles and different levels across different teams to achieve common goals
- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills in a large enterprise environment
