Tango Tango is Hiring a Support Technician Near Huntsville, AL
Responsibilities:
- Device Assembly: Precisely assemble networking devices and configure customer-ordered rack systems with attention to detail and adherence to specific requirements.
- Technical Support: Provide exceptional technical support to our customers by troubleshooting radio-over-IP integrations and networking issues, demonstrating a strong understanding of IT and networking concepts.
- Customer Interaction: Actively engage with customers through calls and potentially on-site visits, offering clear, understandable guidance and support for their inquiries and issues.
- On-call Support: Participate in a support-on-call rotation, being ready to assist with urgent technical issues outside of regular business hours, ensuring reliable service continuity.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in-person in Huntsville, AL.
- Educational Background: A degree in IT, computers, telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 1-3 years in IT support, networking support, radio shop technical support, or a related field, with hands-on experience in device assembly or hardware configuration.
- Technical Skills: Strong foundation in networking principles, experience with radio-over-IP technologies preferred. Proficiency in Linux systems is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems independently, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Customer Service: A customer-oriented mindset, with previous experience in a customer support role being an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
