A financial services organization in New York City is currently seeking a new Tech Support / Reporting Specialist for a promising opportunity with their growing staff.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
The Tech Support / Reporting Specialist will:

• Provide technical advice and guidance relative to problems involving technical user issues
• Troubleshoot and restore routine technical service and equipment troubles by analyzing, identifying and diagnosing faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures
• Provide over-the-phone and on-site assistance to users: problem identification, instruction, and resolution of problems
• Design technical solutions for modules of a project, or to resolve most problems and select appropriate work procedures or approaches to address technical challenges
• Conduct complete diagnostics of most business problems; anticipates implementation obstacles.
• Assist in of new technologies and other related tasks as needed.
• Influence and propose new technologies to meet organizational needs
• Develop and maintain Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards based on business requirements and user needs
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to design effective reporting solutions using Oracle BI tools and Microsoft Excel
• Build and manage data models and repositories to ensure accurate and efficient data retrieval for reporting purposes
• Collaborate with business users and subject matter experts to understand data structures and business logic to develop meaningful reports and visualizations
• Monitor and troubleshoot reporting issues, identify root causes, and implement necessary fixes or enhancements
• Document technical specifications, report designs, and data mappings for future reference and knowledge sharing
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 2 years of Tech Support / Reporting experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Working knowledge of Oracle
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient
• Solid problem solving and time management skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
