Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess not only strong analytical skills but also basic HR skills, including proficiency in using Jira, writing user stories, and gathering business requirements. Additionally, the candidate should excel in dealing with applications, identifying and plugging the holes wherever we have gaps. Personality-wise, we are looking for someone who can follow instructions meticulously and works effectively within a collaborative team environment. This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, requiring on-site presence three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
• Utilize Jira and other tools to manage tasks, track progress, and facilitate communication within the team.
• Write clear and concise user stories that effectively communicate business needs and requirements.
• Gather and document detailed business requirements through interviews, workshops, and other elicitation techniques.
• Identify gaps in existing processes and systems and recommend innovative solutions to address them.
• Work closely with HR and other functional teams to ensure that business applications meet their requirements and support their processes effectively.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for business applications, addressing issues and implementing enhancements as needed.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, system diagrams, and training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that drive operational efficiency and improve business outcomes.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and 3 years of industry experience.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with basic HR skills and experience using Jira.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data to identify trends and insights.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and concepts clearly and effectively.
• Solid understanding of business process modeling, requirements elicitation, and solution design methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools is a plus.
