Tandym Group is Hiring a Clinical Category Manager Near Sleepy Hollow, NY

A healthcare organization in New York is actively seeking an experienced professional to join their team in Westchester County as a Clinical Category Manager. In this role, the Clinical Category Manager will be responsible for the contracting and vendor management from the item to the relationship level.
Responsibilities:
The Clinical Category Manager will:

  • Analyze business needs and ensure that functional and technical requirements are documented
  • Develop communication strategy and establish communication plan
  • Perform necessary investigations, analyses, and evaluations to determine feasibility.
  • Prepare routine department status reports
  • Provide regular department status information to team members, including attending required meetings and following-up on action items
  • Ensure adherence to protocols, procedures, and project plans
  • Establish departmental goals and measurements of success
  • Ensurs each project deliverable has clear completion criteria and acceptance plan
  • Maintain all relevant documentation and communications
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
  • Knowledge associated with the professional field of Strategic Sourcing, Project Management, systems, and procedures.
  • Experience in the creation of RFP/RFI documents, driving the solicitation process, with appropriate documentation of processes and decisions
  • Experience in contracting, vendor management, analysis creation, cross department consensus building
  • Computer savvy
  • Experience with Contract Management and GHX/EDI Inventory Management Software
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Solid critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or Master of Health Administration
