Responsibilities:
The Audit Manager will be responsible for:
- Communicating between clients and the firm to ensure engagement objectives are met by all parties
- Providing guidance and experience to ensure that engagement risks are identified and appropriate responses are taken
- Mentoring and developing Associates by providing timely on-site reviews and providing feedback on Associates' performance
- Facilitating resolutions on complex audit and accounting issues
- Reviewing financial reporting and ensuring client deliverables are provided in a timely manner
- Providing the Engagement Partner with timely status updates and communicating and involving the partner in the resolution of any client issues as they arise
- Developing outside relationships (professional, personal, etc.) with a goal to foster long-term business development opportunities
- 5 years of experience in a Public Accounting setting
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related field
- CPA or parts passed
- Solid Audit background (Financial and Operational)
- Experience with Compliance and Internal Controls
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related field
