Captain Fear is a part time position that serves to promote Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home games, as well as in the Tampa Bay area. The mascot performer must be an upbeat, outgoing individual with the ability to interact with all types of people. Captain Fear is a vital component of the in-game experience at Raymond James Stadium. Candidates must be comfortable performing regularly in front of thousands of fans. Core Functions:Maintain the character and personality of Captain Fear, both at home games and at community appearancesPerform as mascot at all home games during the NFL seasonHelp create a fun and energetic atmosphere at home gamesPerform as mascot at community appearances throughout the yearPlan, develop, and implement mascot skits with Cheerleading and Mascot Manager to be performed at home gamesDevelop and maintain the mascot’s costume and propsProvide a high level of customer service to fans and sponsors Skills & AbilitiesGreat communication and interpersonal skillsPositive, energetic personalityAbility to learn quickly and work well under pressure is essentialReliable, punctual, and courteousFlexible schedule for nights, weekends, and holidays Comfortable performing in front of large crowdsKnowledge of the game of footballAbility and desire to be creative, zany, and fun-loving Experience & EducationDegree preferredPrevious experience as a mascot at the Collegiate level or with a Professional Sports team requiredDance experience welcomedCandidate must be in good health, above average physical shape and conditioning due to the severe heat and humidity conditions in FloridaBackground Check will be performedMust have own vehicle and be willing to travel Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record a must Work EnvironmentThe Company is a professional, fast paced, creative business environment.
