Tallavera is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for long term care. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) candidates must be Certified as a Nursing Assistant in the state of New York .

Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Listen to shift report attentively in order to set priorities of resident care.
• Follow resident assignment sheet that contains plan of care.
• Report to licensed nurse pertinent resident care information throughout shift.
• Report to licensed nurse when leaving unit and at end of shift.
• Communicate pertinent information to co-workers to ensure compliance with resident care standards.
• Meet all certification and re-certification requirements as set by regulation.
• Complete ADL documentation by end of scheduled shift.

Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• A valid New York State Nurse Aide certification
• Interest & experience working with older adults
• Current CPR, Current Physical, PPD, Varicella, MMRs and COVID Vaccination
• High school diploma or equivalent
