The Friendly Home is currently seeking a C.N.A. (Certified Nursing Assistant) for our 5-Star Senior Care Community located in Brighton, NY.

Shift: Days and Evenings

Status: Full Time

Department: Nursing

Requirements for a Friendly Home CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant):

• High School Diploma or GED
• NYS Certified Nursing Assistant certification
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate, and work well with both individuals and in groups
• Willing and able to work as a team member

Responsibilities for a Friendly Home CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant):

• Perform care according to Member Care Cards.
• Give daily hygiene care to Members including baths, oral hygiene, hair care, nail care, shaving, foot care; dresses and/or assists Members to dress.
• Makes beds; keeps Members' rooms and belongings in order; keeps equipment neat and clean.
• Pass nourishment's to Members designated to receive them and records amount taken.
• Assist Members with range of motion, sitting, standing, and walking to maintain mobility. Applies supportive measures to help prevent deformity.
• Assists Members using lift belt, mechanical lifts, one and two person transfers as directed on Member Care Cards.
• Responsible for daily documentation, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
